About  Our Story

A History of Passion and Purpose

Spanning four generations, our family has been in the extractive sector since the 1950s. Our current directors began as RF Kerr Quarries – and then established Conundrum Holdings in 1988 being based in the Mitchell Shire since then. But since the start, we’ve strived to make a positive change wherever we can.

Holding the Community Close

Many of our clients, partners and team members come from our local communities.

We’re also a founding member of the Construction Material Processors Association (CMPA). In this role, we help ensure the government always hears our sector’s needs – which are influenced by our communities.

Working Smarter for the Environment

Quarrying isn’t about dust, dirt and damage to the environment. In fact, we strive to blend into our surrounding landscapes, rehabilitate progressively – and be a home for native flora and fauna across our sites.

Our infrastructure also helps us coexist with the land, as any modern quarry should. And thanks to our advanced equipment, automated processes and meticulous housekeeping, we minimise energy consumption and emissions – every step of the way.

Where Quality is a Must

At Conundrum, we combine decades of experience with a strong philosophy that promotes continuous improvement and computer-controlled processing. These help us to consistently deliver materials that meet all your needs – and a reliable, tailored service.

What’s more, because our quarries are close to the communities we service, you’re able to save on transport costs. And with no supply chain to slow us down, we give you the support you need, as soon as you need it.
